Three day Thrasher..

So it all started on a Sunday, Packed up My Nike SB back pack and jetted out to the LES.( Lower East Side for those in the derrrr..ahh section) First stop Pianos for a Lil one on one with there dope ass drinks. I made a bunch of random friends as you do on any random NYC night. about two o clock I stumbled out and walked over to the my friends place and crashed there (she's a good homie so no happy go bang bang) Woke up to some breakfast at noon and then headed out.
The following night went back to pianos for more drinks and eats but this time had like 12 ppl with me. I later called up my boy and and met up with him and a few other friends at this spot called Lakeview bar. we made hella noise took cool pictures in the photo booth then headed out to two more bars. early that night the infamous LadyW called me up and was ready to party so we brought the party back to the homies house and did stop til like 5 am. I woke up to walk LadyW to the door at 8 and then fell back to sleep. We all got up and had coffee around 11 and Ito and my self loaded up the car and went surfing.



It was so epic! we got some eats and head back to the LOWER. I had to go to the Ninjasonik show at Highline ballroom. We ripped the roof off that place. It was madness!! and i loved every second. Not sure if it was the gnarly ass crowd or Ease da man doing a front tuck stage dive or just how twisted we all were, it was all greatness. The homie Trouble andrew killed his set too!
After all that damn madness i was ready to throw in the towel. walking home with my head held low I see my old friend Anthony who is celebrating his b-day. He snatches me up and off we go to club 1*Oak. Everyone is there. Dj Jus Ske, Dj Meldbarge, Richie A, the big homie Errol etc etc and for me that nothing but bad news! handing me drink after drink after drink. i was hurting so I had to leave. Sorry for the lack of pictures in this area i was wasted!!
I got on the train and feel asleep for the whole ride home. Got in my bed fully dressed and it was light out. Woke up to my phone ringing and the voice on the other line asking me "yo when we hanging out I'm ready to go in again" I reply i shocked I'm alive now. So let me recover and ill get back to you. Living and loving life is fun but its had fu(k'In work!! until next time. I'm out like candles on a windy day.

Battle for the BC belt

Whats up yall? sorry for the delay just been hella busy out there living it up and getting content for you fools, So last Wednesday night NYC held the biggest breakdance battle: the Red Bull BC One (Hosted by KRS one). Lilou (street beat) representing Algeria, came out victorious winning for a second time in the BC six year history. He defeated the USA’s Cloud (skill methodz) in an epic three round, final. Now i have to say. Lilou is hella tight on the dance floor but for anyone who was there you have to admit how Cloud went in on him. Im still stuck on that last vote. Congrates to all the b-boys who competed yall rocked the shit out the beats. On a side note, props to Nemesis for getting major camera time n being in crowd..lol

DAMN! the homie Gabriel Dishaw, specializing in metal work, has tapped in the once underground culture of sneakers. Some would say he has a lot of time on his hands but when your passionate about something it always feels like there isnt enough time to do it in. He made use of “junk” like scrap metal and spare computer parts to create these sculptures. It took him over a month to produce the whole package which this time includes not just the shoes but also the shoe box, the label, the diagram and the shoe tags. As my grandmother would say "that boy stuck his foot in this" loosely translated it means he did a epic job. feel free to go support the arts and check them out

Just came across this new footy of Skate 3 that set to drop May 2010, I was a major fan of Skate but they lost me with Skate 2. I guess it was because they were trying to do so much else with it they lost a lot of the core game play and fun aspect of it (but i cant fault the team for reach out to hit the next level) watch it and let me know what u think

Creation Station

So I started the night with a major session of Dj hero. Just crushing fools online at like 5 am. The next day after sunshine I decided to take my homie Ronnie to the Nike studio and cook up some madness. I wanted to surprise him so i walked him around for like 30 mins in the wrong direction. Major kannon on his feet. We got there and just went to work, no time wasted just doing big things. A Sad State We Are In...

OK, we all know i stopped blogging for awhile to get out in the world handle real business for a bit. but i couldn't stay away from how emotional this made me. Is it that we as African Americans just don't matter to the people in control or is it that we are seen as such a comical race over efforts are seen as nothing more then comedy to the rest? Yes we live and have lived in the great luxury of freedoms whether it be freedom of press or freedom to live the"American dream" but these freedoms weren't always available. People had to die lose their lively hoods and all the things that a person would consider a part of who they are. Now in 2009 a year most would hope to be filled with change i see a major step in the wrong direction when i come across this. It was stated that the use of the monkey had no racial reference to the president but even so where does the common knowledge of what once was a everyday use of racist and sympathy come into play in peoples hearts? We are all given one life but in my opinion stuff like this just makes it hard to live or rather live peacefully.

Sorry again i know i missed a couple of things But I been busy taking time out for myself. You know getting life together and making sure it flows how I want it to. So we have elected a Black man into the White house, Which is amazing on so many levels but it kinda suck when they still refer to "us" as minorities on the news. The city was going krazy! The big homie Trevor did a show with Bad Brains and let no mind undamaged. It was so epic , from the crowd to the stage it was just on from wall to wall. Kaws Had a art showing on 5th ave, the turn out was krazy i seen a few good friends, some sexy women and Interesting artistic concepts. Also spent time with my princess of niece. We went all over the city getting into everything. It was an family day of fun and love and tons of smiles. All right , where do I start? (giving you a peak at my internal monologue) The whole thing started with a couple of phone calls. All sounding a little something like "YO, bring your ass because shits ganna be epic and we need you there fuck face." Fast forward to me and the homies getting bent on the Chinatown bus to Philly. That Hennessy had me in the bathroom pissing from hours, so i totally missed the shit talking with H and so other cat coming from left field. So once the bus stopped, they stepped off the bus and the other dude bitched out cause he saw H wasn't a cupcake. Now where at Ubiq getting it in all kinds of ways. The show was epic , please believe we ripped it apart. Some how we ended up in some club having bottle service and chillin with the big homie Beanie Sigel. The DJ saw us stopped the music yelled Ninjasonik, 57 and threw on the NS Tight Pants. It was love all around. As soon as I got back to NY I had to head out to the GT X STPL downshift session. If you missed it your a dumb ass.
It was so damn live. Girls, games, gifts, friends and drinks all night. I seen a bunch of friends that showed me love and let the me know the scene misses me. I entered into the contest they were having for the chance to win the full gamer set up with an advanced copy of GT.
The time to beat was 1.21.34 my time was 1.22.6 they cheated because i was black. RACISM. this pic was funny. Yes i did get the number so haaaa

(The big Homie Haze blessed me)From one party right to another. Taking the walk over to Forbidden to chill and eat good food. It was getting late and anyone who knows how long my troop is back home. Next morning woke up and headed out to fright fest at six flags won hella prizes and got on mad rides, lost my glasses ate tons of junk food. it was all good. I hit you fools with more in a couple of days.
